Specimen Expenses

In addition to the tuition fee, your cost will vary depending on the animal(s) you choose to mount and whether or not you bring your own.

By charging separately for specimens and forms, a student has a chance to save if they already have some or all of the animals to mount. It also offers you a variety to choose from according to where you live and your control over how much you would like to spend.

We encourage you to bring any special pieces of wood/ driftwood/ props to add to your mount for a unique, personalized finished work of art.

You can easily estimate your expenses from the price list provided. Take the mounting requirements for the course you desire and make a list of the specimens you would like to (or need to) purchase.

Note: Most students will spend approximately $150.00 on supplies if they bring their own specimens. For those students that want all of the specimens supplied it will cost approximately $ 350.00- $500.00.
